Paving is the family trade
Asphalt Maintenance & Construction is a family-owned paving company based in Elkhart, Indiana. The business has been handed down through four generations, and the people running it today learned the trade on real job sites long before they ever wrote an estimate.
That history shapes how we work. We still believe the most important part of any paving job is the part you can't see when we leave: a base that's graded to drain and compacted until it's solid. Get that right and the asphalt on top lasts. Skip it and no amount of fresh blacktop will save the job.
Most of our work comes from people who saw a job we did down the road or heard about us from a neighbor. Homeowners call us back when it's time to seal the driveway we paved, and businesses call when the lot needs restriping. We'd like to keep it that way, which is why we treat every property like it's on our own street.
